New Books and Large Ships

I went to visit MV Logos Hope, deemed as the largest floating bookstore, for the first time last March with PJ. It was their final day in Manila before transferring to Subic. To be honest, I expected this ship to hold an impressive array of books (imagine Powerbooks/National Bookstore built in a ship) but to my surprise, most of what was being sold there were from mostly unknown authors. Except for the classics like the Alice In Wonderland. But while I sought after novels, the ship also holds a number of books about travel, general knowledge, sports, religion, children textbooks, and etc. And I read somewhere in the internet that "The ship is manned by crew and staff that are non- salaried volunteers representing 45 different nationalities." Now that's dedication.

P.S. Thank you PJ for a trigger-happy day :)
